Taking a Break

Hi, this is not my usual post. As you may have noticed my posts have been getting further and further apart. I found out in November that my mom has cancer in her spine. She has gone through her radiation and is slowly getting better but I realize that I have way too much going on to put any energy into blogging. If I blog than I am tempted to check back for comments and thus start checking everyone else's posts. So, I'm taking a break. I just plan to take off February, and start back up in March. If you read this, your prayers for my mom would be greatly appreciated. The whole situation has been filled with God's grace and mercy, and we are very thankful. God is Good...All the Time! See ya in March. P.S. some very funny things happened at the hospital...stay tuned.

What the heck is that dancing cat? That definitely belongs on your blog, Karen! :) HA!
I've been praying for you and your mom, and I'm betting the sense of humor God's graciously gifted ya'll with has been a huge means of grace through this time. I know reading your stories has helped me very much...just when I'm taking my life a bit too seriously, I read one more of your stories, and perspective magically returns! Thanks, and I'm looking forward to the hospital stories. :)

Karen, so sorry to hear about your mom's cancer. WE'll certainly pray for her--and you. Thanks for letting us know.

BTW, I love the dancing kitty. But is that all the moves she knows? Looks like a talented version of my prom date.

I'm sad reading your last blog, I hope that there will be a time when we can laugh and your silly stories again.
I love you.
